Part-Time Water Sample Collector
About the role
We are looking for a candidate with a flexible schedule who can work 15-20 hours per month during normal business hours in the Miami, FL area. The role involves taking on-site readings via a testing instrument (chlorine, temperature, and pH readings) and collecting building water samples for lab analysis. Travel within a 150-mile radius is expected.
Responsibilities
- Take on-site readings using a testing instrument
- Collect and send building water samples to a lab for culture analysis
- Train and mentor peers to ensure consistent knowledge sharing and team development
- Work independently and be self-motivated
- Communicate effectively and have basic computer skills
- Occasionally walk around client sites, climb stairs or ladders, and lift up to 25 pounds
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Some college courses in Chemistry or Biology preferred
- A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for at least two years
