Part-Time Water Sample Collector

About the role

We are looking for a candidate with a flexible schedule who is interested in working 10-20 hours per month during normal business hours in the Fargo, ND area. The role involves taking on-site readings via a testing instrument (chlorine, temperature, and pH readings) and collecting building water samples to be sent to a lab for cultures. Travel within a 100-mile radius is expected on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Take on-site readings via a testing instrument (chlorine, temperature, and pH readings)
• Collect building water samples to be sent to a lab for cultures
• Train and mentor peers to ensure consistent knowledge sharing and team development
• May involve some physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs, or lifting up to 25 pounds

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Some college courses in Chemistry or Biology (a plus)
• A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record for at least two years

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
• Excellent communication abilities
• Basic computer skills
