Part Time Water Management Specialist

About the role

Phigenics is seeking a candidate with a flexible schedule interested in working 10-20 / week DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS in the Phoenix, AZ metro area. We will train the right person to take on-site readings via a testing instrument (i.e. chlorine, temperature, and pH readings) and collect building water samples to be sent to a lab for cultures. This role will also help service existing clients by maintaining and troubleshooting water monitoring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Take on-site readings via a testing instrument (i.e. chlorine, temperature, and pH readings)
• Collect building water samples to be sent to a lab for cultures
• Help service existing clients by maintaining and troubleshooting water monitoring equipment
• Work independently with self-motivation
• Show excellent communication abilities
• Show basic computer skills
• Walk around client sites (may include climbing stairs or ladders)
• May need to lift up to 25 pounds

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Some college courses in Chemistry or Biology (a plus)
• A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record for at least two years

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities services within a hospital
• Comfortable taking the machines apart
• Thorough understanding of the parts of water monitoring equipment
