Part-time Turndown Attendant

About the role

Mandarin Oriental, Boston is seeking a Part-time Turndown Attendant to join the Housekeeping team. Located in the heart of the Back Bay, the hotel features 138 guest rooms and 12 suites.

Responsibilities

• Place finishing touches on guest rooms for a comfortable and restful evening.
• Turn down beds, draw curtains, and refresh towels, ensuring high housekeeping standards.
• Vacuum carpet and dust furniture, surfaces, vents, and baseboards.
• Provide warm, professional service to guests, addressing questions or handling special requests.
• Report any defects in guest rooms and public areas to the appropriate department.
• Work evening shifts.

Requirements

• Possess 1-2 years of experience in the Housekeeping department of a luxury hotel or residential property.
• Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Able to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
• Able to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

Pay

The hourly rate of pay for this position is $32.95.
