Turndown Attendant | Part-Time

Fairmont Kea Lani is located on the south shore of Maui, offering luxurious oceanfront suites and villas amidst tropical landscapes. The property emphasizes authentic Hawaiian cultural experiences and genuine personal service, fostering a warm and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Overall tidying of occupied guestrooms, including turndown services, dusting, and amenity replenishment
• Removing soiled linens and retrieving clean linens from linen closets
• Vacuuming and bathroom cleaning if required
• Reporting any mattress protector, blankets, bedspreads, and valances needing change
• Calling in room dining for tray/trolley removal
• Maintaining proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment; reporting any malfunctions
• Updating, recording, and reporting suite status (turned down, do not require service, Privacy Please)
• Taking accurate room status reports at the end of the shift
• Maintaining organized linen closets, supply closets, and landing areas
• Providing engaging, personalized, timely, and efficient service to guests
• Focusing on guest needs, maintaining professionalism and courtesy
• Reporting suspicious persons and lost and found items
• Promoting and enforcing health and safety awareness, understanding emergency procedures

Qualifications

• A warm and caring personality
• Previous housekeeping experience an asset
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimum supervision
• Anticipating and focusing on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
• Manual dexterity for carrying out essential functions, operating cleaning equipment
• Frequent walking, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs., pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs., bending, kneeling, ascending/descending ladders/stairs/ramps
