Part-Time Travel Stepdown RN

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Stepdown RN to provide specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms
• Administer medications
• Assist with cardiac procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care
• Assess patient conditions and respond to emergencies
• Document health status
• Educate patients on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications

Requirements

• At least one year of recent Stepdown RN experience
• Valid RN license per state regulations
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Preferred Skills and Certifications

• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN)
• NIHSS Certification
• Additional relevant certifications/licenses
