About the role
Travel Stepdown RN providing care for patients transitioning from intensive care to general inpatient units.
Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac rhythms
- Administer medications
- Assist with cardiac procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort
- Document patient conditions
- Respond to emergencies
- Educate patients on cardiac health
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum one year recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- Valid RN license and current BLS & ACLS certifications
- Critical thinking, interpersonal, and technical skills
- Ability to interpret telemetry data, perform fine motor tasks, and communicate effectively
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist with procedures
- Capable of working under pressure and maintaining confidentiality
