Job Description and Position Requirements

The Smeal College of Business Marketing Department is seeking applicants for part-time teaching assistants for BA 815 with Dr. Liechty. Job duties to include:

  • Holding recitation sessions
  • Attending a few class sessions
  • Checking homework and quizzes
  • Working through class projects
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervising instructor

Requirements, Qualifications, and/or Competencies

Academic integrity and the ability to maintain student confidentiality is required, as well as a solid foundation in statistics. Candidates should have good communication and interpersonal skills, be reliable and organized, and have good time management skills. Knowledge of business statistics is preferred.

Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
