About the role
Join our dynamic team as a Part Time Switchboard Operator. We are seeking an individual who can provide exceptional customer service and support.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and route them to appropriate departments or individuals.
- Handle inquiries and requests from clients and customers.
- Ensure all calls are answered within a specified time frame.
- Provide accurate and timely information to callers.
- Operate switchboard equipment and maintain its functionality.
- Document call details and follow up as necessary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with switchboard systems.
- Knowledge of local area codes and phone systems.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate shifts.
