About the role

Join our dynamic team as a Part Time Switchboard Operator. We are seeking an individual who can provide exceptional customer service and support.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and route them to appropriate departments or individuals.
  • Handle inquiries and requests from clients and customers.
  • Ensure all calls are answered within a specified time frame.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to callers.
  • Operate switchboard equipment and maintain its functionality.
  • Document call details and follow up as necessary.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with switchboard systems.
  • Knowledge of local area codes and phone systems.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate shifts.
