Responsibilities
- Support, supervise, and serve as a positive role model for residents
- Assist with medication monitoring and administration per policies
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and records
- Prepare meals, perform light housekeeping and laundry duties
- Support residents with daily living skills and treatment goals
- Respond to emergencies and crises appropriately
- Transport residents to appointments and community resources
- Collect urine samples and administer breathalyzer tests as required
- Attend staff meetings and complete training
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, or substance use recovery preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professional boundaries
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful manner with diverse populations
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
Training in DHS 83 preferred (or completed after hire)
Local travel may be required (approximately 25–50%)
This role involves creating a safe, structured environment to support recovery, assisting with daily routines, and responding to residents' needs, emphasizing compassion and professionalism.
