Responsibilities
- Support and supervise residents, providing positive role modeling.
- Assist with medication monitoring, documentation, and maintaining confidential records.
- Prepare meals, perform light housekeeping, and support daily living skills.
- Respond to emergencies and crises appropriately.
- Transport residents to appointments and community resources.
- Collect urine samples and administer breathalyzer tests as needed.
- Attend staff meetings and complete required training.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, or substance use recovery preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.
DHS 83 training preferred (or completed after hire). Local travel may be required (about 25–50%).
This role involves supporting residents in a trauma-informed, gender-specific residential treatment setting, helping them achieve recovery and independence while ensuring safety and compliance with program policies.
