Part-Time Support Staff - Women's Recovery Program

Responsibilities

• Provide support, supervision, and positive role modeling for residents
• Assist with medication monitoring and administration
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Support residents with daily living skills and treatment goals
• Respond to emergencies and crisis situations appropriately
• Transport residents to appointments and community resources
• Collect urine samples and administer breathalyzer tests
• Attend staff meetings and complete training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in human services, behavioral health, or substance use recovery preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professional boundaries
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude toward diverse populations
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record

Training in DHS 83 preferred or to be completed after hire. Local travel may be required (approximately 25–50%).

This role supports a trauma-informed, gender-specific residential treatment program for adult women, including those with infants, fostering a safe environment and encouraging independence and recovery.
