Part-Time Support Staff (Downtown Tasting Room)

The Restaurant at JUSTIN has been awarded two MICHELIN Stars and a MICHELIN Green Star for four consecutive years, making it the only winery restaurant in the county to achieve such recognition. This prestigious recognition is due to our commitment to sustainability and excellence in hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests upon arrival and assist in creating a memorable tasting experience
• Respond promptly and appropriately to guest requests, communicating needs to Wine Guides or Managers as necessary
• Accommodate special requests and ensure a seamless flow of service throughout
• Clear tables after guests leave, transporting glassware, silverware, and dishes to appropriate areas for washing
• Reset and arrange tabletops and ensure floors and seating areas are clean and tidy
• Inspect restrooms regularly and maintain cleanliness and restocking standards
• Absorb and support Wine Guides with timely replenishment of table supplies and service items

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, tasting room, or other hospitality setting is preferred but not required
• Show a strong interest in customer service and an appreciation for wine
• Possess a flexible schedule, including the ability to work weekends and holidays
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members from diverse backgrounds
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English

Benefits

This is a part-time position (scheduled up to 29 hours per week) based at the JUSTIN Downtown Tasting Room: 811 12th St, Paso Robles, CA 93446. We are seeking an individual willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Pay

Pay Range: $17.00 per hour, plus tips. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills and experience.
