Department-Specific Responsibilities
- Creates marketing materials for events throughout the year, including digital ads, social media posts, physical flyers and signs, that are aligned with IU branding standards and program goals.
- Develops and maintains technology tools applicable to the position, such as Canvas and GroupMe.
- Develops and maintains social media and marketing tools applicable to the position, such as LinkedIn, Instagram, beINvolved, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud applications, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Mets with MSLD Administrative Coordinator on a recurring basis.
- Attends required FASE events for marketing purposes.
- Evaluates program events and initiatives through marketing, branding, and awareness lenses.
- Develops and expands MSLD and FASE branding and awareness campus-wide through effective and concise communication, marketing strategies, and social media campaigns based on critical reflections and evaluations.
Education
- Required: Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at Indiana University as a sophomore or above in class standing
- Good Academic standing for the duration of employment
Work Experience
- Experience with program development, planning, and execution
- Experience with social media and marketing strategies
