About the role

This job involves providing essential customer service to all individuals seeking assistance in the Care Center while maintaining confidentiality. The position also handles incoming calls and inquiries for the Care Center, maintains a thorough understanding of policies and procedures, manages inventory, sorts, organizes, and logs donations, collects necessary information from participants, and provides timely updates and operational insights to leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming calls and inquiries for the Care Center
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the most current policies and standard operating procedures for the Care Center
  • Manage inventory, stock organization, and rotation (including expiration date tracking)
  • Collects needed information from participants via designated tracking system
  • Provides timely updates and operational insights to leadership (Dean) as needed
  • Affixes to Care Center events
  • Performs other reasonable, related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • High-level of computer proficiency
  • Knowledge and experience working with youth
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities with the ability to prioritize duties
  • Demonstrates commitment to multicultural and multi-generational diversity

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
