Part Time Spanish Instructor - 1-to-1 Education
About the role
At Brightmont Academy, we offer a flexible part-time position for a Spanish instructor with a unique teaching model: one-to-one instruction. Since 1999, we've helped students in grades 1–12 achieve their full potential through personalized learning.
Responsibilities
- Tailor lessons to individual student needs and learning styles
- Guide students towards mastery using a gradual release approach
- Focus on building confidence and academic success
- Eliminate stress and extra work associated with lesson planning, parent conferences, and grading
- Enjoy professional development opportunities to advance your teaching career
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish or Language Education
- Patience and empathy for diverse learning needs
- A heart for teaching and sharing knowledge with students
- Proficiency in using Google Suite and Learning Management Software (LMS)
- The ability to provide fingerprints (required for Arizona and Washington state positions) and pass a federal background check
Bonus Qualifications
- An advanced degree in a specific subject area of expertise (nice to have)
- Previous experience teaching Spanish or one-to-one instruction
