PART TIME SOLAR BEARS ICE CREW
We are recruiting for part-time, game night staff for the Orlando Magic, Osceola Magic, and Orlando Solar Bears. Whether you are a college student, a teacher with a flexible schedule, someone looking to re-enter the workforce, or someone just looking for additional income, our part-time, event roles could be perfect for you.
About the role
Ice Crew assist with on-ice promotions and ice maintenance during promotional timeouts at all home games. Ice skating experience required.
Responsibilities
- Shovel the ice during all promotional timeouts
- Assist Floor Managers with all on-ice promotions during intermissions
- Attend pregame production meeting
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ice skating experience required
- Must provide your own pair of hockey skates
- Ice rink maintenance experience preferred
Physical requirements
- Must be able to ice skate with hockey skates
- Must be able to lift 25+ pounds
Tryouts for this role will be held on Saturday, 8/29 at 10:00 AM. Registration begins at 9:30 AM at the Orlando Ice Den (8701 Maitland Summit Blvd, Orlando). Attendance at tryouts is required to be considered.
