Ice Crew

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Operations Manager and Operation Team Leaders to assist with ice rink preparation and maintenance, including event set-up and services.
• Assist with making ice for hockey and other ice-related events, including dasher wall and dasher glass installation, building ice, painting/marking hockey lines, and resurfacing ice as needed.
• Perform cleaning, upkeep, and minor maintenance of the facility and related support areas.
• Report all major maintenance items and safety concerns to management.
• Assist with the cleaning, minor maintenance, and proper storage of all ice event-related equipment, including the Ice Paint machine, Ice Resurfacing machine, hockey nets, hockey logos, and other motorized equipment.
• Operate motorized equipment such as ice resurfacing machines, forklifts, and Bobcats in the performance of assigned duties.
• Compile information and generate time reports for event wrap-up, track productivity, and make recommendations to management for increased productivity.
• Deliver the highest level of service to all clients and events, and assist in resolving clients’ questions and concerns.
• Perform other ice event-related duties as needed, directed, or required.
