Part-Time Softball Instructor - Levittown, PA

About the Role

At All-Star Sports Academy (ASSA), we are dedicated to our mission: “Inspiring and mentoring young athletes to become successful individuals – one game, one lesson, and one player at a time.” As a Softball Instructor, you will be the face of our daily programming, primarily providing 1:1 instruction to ASSA athletes. This nonexempt role reports to the respective general manager and involves supporting additional programs like camps and clinics, managing a book of athletes, and engaging in business development activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 lessons following the All-Star Way methodology.
• Deliver exceptional service with a focus on hospitality and positive energy.
• Develop and manage a book of athletes, fostering long-term player development relationships.
• Support or lead multi-player programs such as camps and clinics.
• Continuously learn and implement the All-Star Sports Academy curriculum.
• Interact daily with youth athletes and their families, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Engage in outbound sales and business development to build and maintain a client base.
• Research prospects and leads to identify potential accounts.
• Collaborate with team members to develop strategic sales approaches.
• Handle and convert inbound prospect calls into sales.
• Overcome customer objections and close sales.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized training center.
• Help build and coach training center teams.
• Coordinate with the sales department regarding training center rentals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Coaching, teaching, or instructing experience preferred.
• Experience working with youth athletes.
• Strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
