Part Time Service Technician (Ridgeville)

About the role

A Part-Time Service Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and support of industrial refrigeration equipment for our valued customers. A working knowledge of commercial and industrial refrigeration and electrical controls is required to be successful in this role. This part-time role requires 2-3 hours per day, Monday through Friday, scheduled within the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., for a total of 10 hours per week. Daylight shift, long-term, permanent position (based on client contract) with a flexible schedule that can be easily worked around another job.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine daily, weekly, and monthly mechanical integrity inspections at client facilities.
• Regularly report inspection findings to the Service Manager.
• Accurately input inspection results into the system using a computer.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Must be a high school graduate or have attained a GED (HVAC tech school preferred).
• Universal EPA certification OR ability to obtain.
• Company is a tobacco-free workplace; no tobacco products are allowed during the workday on the job site(s).
• Pre-employment drug screening, felony screening, and motor vehicle record screening required.
• Excellent physical condition; ability to climb ladders and perform occasional heavy lifting.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise).
• Must have the physical stamina to perform repetitive motions and remain on feet for most of the shift.

Pay

$25–30/hour, dependent on experience.

Schedule

Part-time, 10 hours per week (2–3 hours per day, Monday through Friday, between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.).
