Part Time Service Technician (Fairborn)

About the role

This part-time, permanent daylight-shift position requires 2–3 hours per day, Monday through Friday, scheduled within 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., for a total of 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and weekly refrigeration inspections and provide basic maintenance support to industrial accounts in food & beverage and refrigerated storage equipment ranging from 100 HP to 5,000 HP.
• Visually inspect and report findings for all plant refrigeration equipment to customer and service manager.
• Demonstrate understanding and adherence to all work safety policies, procedures, and governing requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the service manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; HVAC tech school preferred.
• Minimum of 1+ years of industrial HVAC experience preferred but not required (training may be available).
• Universal EPA certification preferred.
• No tobacco products allowed during the workday on jobsite(s).
• Pre-employment drug screening, criminal background check, and driving record check required.
• Well-groomed and professional appearance as a company representative.
• Ability to climb 40-foot extension ladders and work on all types of ladders.
• Ability to see and hear industrial equipment on the jobsite.
• Requires face-to-face, telephone, and email communication.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, and squat for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in very hot (above 100°F) or very cold (below 10°F) temperatures and wear all required safety PPE in these conditions.
