Part-Time Service Technician

About the role

The General Service Technician performs non-technical automotive services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and wheel balancing. Responsibilities include driving customers, picking up parts, maintaining shop cleanliness, and documenting vehicle conditions using multi-point inspections. The role requires safe vehicle operation, adherence to safety protocols, and following company policies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tire services, oil changes, and basic repairs
• Document vehicle conditions (including multi-point inspections)
• Ensure shop cleanliness
• Drive vehicles safely (including driving customers)
• Pick up parts
• Perform safety and emission inspections
• Follow safety procedures and adhere to safety protocols
• Operate vehicles safely and follow company policies
• Physical demands: standing, lifting up to 70 pounds, bending, performing repetitive motions
• PPE use may be necessary

Qualifications

• Ability to work multiple days per week
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Demonstrate motivation in a fast‑paced environment
• Automotive experience preferred but not mandatory
• Enthusiasm and strong work ethic valued

Pay

Up to $25/hour based on experience.
