Part-Time Service Technician

About the role

The General Service Technician performs non-technical automotive repairs such as oil changes, tire services, and vehicle inspections. Responsibilities include driving vehicles, picking up parts, maintaining shop cleanliness, and supporting team tasks.

Responsibilities

• Tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotation
• Light vehicle maintenance and oil changes
• Multi-point inspections and documenting vehicle conditions
• Ensuring a clean, organized, and safe workspace
• Driving vehicles safely and obeying traffic laws
• Following safety procedures and reporting concerns
• Supporting team members and adhering to company policies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license
• Ability to obtain or hold a State Inspector License
• Basic understanding of automotive systems
• Ability to work Monday through Saturday

Requirements

• Exposure to loud noises, dust, fumes, and varying temperatures
• Physical demands include standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and good vision and hearing
