About the role
The General Service Technician performs non-technical automotive repairs such as oil changes, tire services, and vehicle inspections.
Responsibilities
- Driving customers
- Picking up parts
- Maintaining shop cleanliness
- Supporting team tasks
- Tire mounting, balancing, and rotation
- Light vehicle maintenance
- Multi-point inspections
- Ensuring a safe, organized work environment
- Adhering to safety procedures
- Supporting team members as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to obtain or hold a State Inspector License
- Basic mechanical understanding
- Must be at least 18 years old
Skills and Working Conditions
- Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50 pounds
- Work in varying temperatures with exposure to dust, fumes, and lubricants
- Good vision, hearing, and motor skills required
