About the role
We are seeking a Dining Server to deliver professional and timely meal service in a senior living community. Responsibilities include accurately taking and delivering food and beverage orders, assisting residents with menu choices, bussing and resetting tables, and maintaining a clean dining environment. Additional duties involve completing side work, participating in pre-meal meetings, utilizing Sunrise systems for order accuracy, and adhering to food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards. The role emphasizes creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere by building positive connections and providing excellent service during each shift.
Responsibilities
- Take and deliver orders accurately and efficiently
- Assist residents with menu selections
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Complete side work and opening/closing duties
- Participate in team meetings and follow all safety protocols
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow safety standards
- Effective communication
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required
