About the role

The Dining Server provides professional and timely meal service in a senior living community, ensuring a warm and welcoming dining experience for residents and guests.

Responsibilities

• Accurately take and deliver food and beverage orders.
• Assist residents with menu selections and provide descriptions.
• Bus, reset tables, and maintain a clean dining environment.
• Complete side work, and opening/closing duties.
• Attend pre-meal meetings to review menu offerings.
• Use community systems for order entry and meal delivery.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
• Build positive connections to foster a hospitable environment.

Qualifications

Prior experience in food service or customer service preferred. Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail are essential.
