About the Role
Server in a senior living community, responsible for providing meal service in the dining room to residents.
Responsibilities
- Serve meals to residents
- Assist with setup and tray delivery
- Bus tables and pour beverages
- Support proper food and equipment handling
- Maintain cleanliness and follow dietary standards
- Ensure a pleasant dining experience for residents
- Act as a liaison between residents and food service
- Follow safety and infection control procedures
- Work cooperatively with team members
- Support resident activity programs
- Participate in meetings and training as needed
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Neat appearance
- Ability to relate courteously to residents and staff
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand, bend, and perform routine tasks
- Must pass drug and background checks
- Adherence to policies, good hygiene, and dependability
