About the role

As a Dining Server in a senior living community, your primary responsibilities include providing timely and professional meal service, creating a warm and welcoming environment for residents and guests, and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately take and deliver food and beverage orders efficiently
• Assist residents with menu selections and provide menu descriptions
• Bus and reset tables according to community standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room and bistro
• Complete side work and opening/closing duties
• Participate in pre-meal meetings to review menu offerings
• Use Sunrise systems for order entry and meal delivery
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
• Build positive connections with residents to foster a hospitable environment

Qualifications And Skills

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to handle food and beverage service efficiently and accurately
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
