Responsibilities

  • Respond to emergency situations in person
  • Be outdoors during all weather situations to monitor, patrol, and respond to threats/emergencies
  • Use modern technology to monitor a variety of alarm signals and respond/dispatch security personnel to those areas following the standard operations manual to notify the proper authorities
  • Answer incoming lines
  • Work individually and as a team to respond to incidents
  • Review security footage and conduct investigations of incidents as required
  • Remain calm and work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Patrol and monitor multiple premises to detect any irregularities, which may include suspicious behavior or security breaches
  • Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity
  • Communicate with local law enforcement units and fire departments as necessary
  • Conduct foot patrols of the premises
  • Write detailed reports on incidents that occurred on the premises daily
  • Maintain proper use, completion and submission of all forms associated with patrol activities and/or duties
  • Respond to requests for assistance and evaluate appropriate courses of action
  • Comply with all requirements/directives within the on-site operations manual/post orders
  • Assume other duties as required by either Client or Northeast Security, Inc

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of Security experience
  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Excellent oral and written communications, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy required, working in MS Windows, Outlook, and OneNote
  • Excellent computer skills utilizing multiple screens
  • Neat and professional appearance
  • Dependable means of transportation
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English (both written and verbal)
  • Constant foot patrol and monitoring outdoors in all weather conditions for the majority of the shift
  • Will be required to respond to emergency situations to patrons with Quality of Life issues such as homelessness and addictions
  • Will be required to write incident reports
  • Must be able to remain alert and active with majority of the shift on foot
  • Must be able to deescalate irate tenant/customer calls/access requests
  • Candidates must be able to successfully pass ALL pre-employment background and drug screenings

Pay

$19.61-23.00/hour based on location and experience

Part-Time position available for 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift, and Weekends
