Security Officer Weekends - Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, tenants, shoppers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with property management and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas to help support authorized entry, provide directions, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Assist with security-related checks of the property during assigned shifts, helping to deter unauthorized activity while maintaining a professional presence in a residential and retail-focused environment.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 plus years of Security experience Or prior Law Enforcement or Military experience required.

Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
