Join Allied Universal at a busy retail location where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. In this role, you will support a welcoming environment through strong communication, customer service, and routine patrols. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and/or assist with visitor and vendor check-in procedures according to site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and/or notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that could help to deter unauthorized access or disruption.

Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour
• Schedule: Day Time, Saturday 05:00 AM - 06:00 PM, Sunday 05:00 AM - 06:00 PM
