Part Time, Retail Store Associate, Savage X Fenty - Roosevelt Field Mall (Garden City, NY)

Savage Retail is seeking a Part‑Time Store Associate to support daily store operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience in our first IRL locations. This temporary role runs for 3‑4 months with potential to extend.

Responsibilities

• Elevate the service experience by embodying brand values and fostering a welcoming culture for a diverse customer base.
• Actively engage guests and VIP members, providing an experience centered on body positivity, product knowledge, and authenticity.
• Stay informed on the XTRA VIP Membership model, promotions, and benefits.
• Collaborate with Store Leaders and the Sales Team to achieve store performance targets.
• Maintain Visual Merchandising standards to support a streamlined customer journey.
• Provide feedback to store leadership to continuously improve the customer and team experience.
• Support inventory controls by accurately receiving/transferring product, joining inventory counts, and keeping the back‑of‑house organized (boxes may weigh 10‑30 lb).
• Continuously improve day‑to‑day customer service, visual merchandising, and operational standards.
• Meet and exceed individual performance goals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, stockroom, and common areas.
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on business or operational needs.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of customer‑facing experience; experience with lingerie and intimates is a plus.
• Flexible and reliable schedule; availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Positive, growth‑mindset approach to ambiguity and challenges.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Tech‑savvy or comfortable using technology in daily responsibilities.
• Self‑directed and highly motivated to own tasks and deliver solutions.
• Ability to thrive in a team‑selling environment.
• Physical ability to move, talk, hear, reach, grab, and stand for at least two consecutive hours; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and ladder climbing.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Pay

Hourly rate between $16.60 – $18.00 depending on experience.
