Part-Time Retail Pharmacy Technician

About the role

This position is for a licensed pharmacy technician responsible for supporting pharmacy operations under the supervision of a staff pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical tasks such as sending and receiving tubes and faxes, filing prescriptions, processing mail, and managing inventory.
• Enter customer, insurance, and prescription data into the pharmacy system.
• Sell prescriptions using POS systems, handle cash transactions, and reconcile payments.
• Manage drug and non-drug inventory, perform cycle counts, and assist with prescription workflow steps.
• Assist with manual and automated dispensing and basic compounding.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• State Board Pharmacy Registration
