Part-Time Pharmacy Technician

Role: Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist with prescription processing, data entry, and medication inventory management.
• Communicate with prescribers and patients via phone and in person to address medication and customer service issues.
• Ensure accuracy of patient and prescription information throughout the filling process and disburse verified prescriptions.
• Support pharmacist in managing inventory and placing orders.
• Adhere to healthcare policies, procedures, and conduct standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Certified through NABP or PTCB
• Minimum of four years customer service experience
• Valid state license
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Native American communities is preferred

• Maintain pharmacy software and EMR data
• Handle patient inquiries
• Clarify prescription details with providers
• Dispense prescriptions
• Support inventory management
