Part-Time Pharmacy Technician

Role Overview

This position supports pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists with prescription processing, drug and patient information management, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The role emphasizes delivering a positive customer experience through engagement, assistance, and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions, reviewing drug interactions, and entering patient data accurately.
• Operate pharmacy systems, oversee inventory, and support workflow management.
• Provide exceptional customer service, greet customers, resolve issues, and develop relationships with key clients.
• Handle cashier duties, process sales, and support clerical tasks, including third-party claims and documentation.
• Support clinical services, including sample collection and coordination with healthcare providers.
• Maintain pharmacy cleanliness, stock supplies, and ensure proper storage and asset protection.
• Coach technicians and cashiers to improve efficiency and adherence to procedures.
• Contribute to pharmacy performance analysis and support outreach efforts with medical professionals.

Qualifications & Skills

• PTCB certification and at least one year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Fluent in English and willing to obtain immunization certification.
• Basic math, PC skills, and knowledge of inventory control are preferred.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Pay

Compensation ranges from $20.50 to $27.50 per hour, with consideration of skills and experience.
