Part Time - Retail Pharmacy Technician

About the role

This position is for a licensed pharmacy technician responsible for supporting departmental operations under supervision. The role involves supporting pharmacy operations to ensure efficient medication dispensing and inventory management, contributing to patient care in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical tasks such as managing tubes, faxes, prescriptions, and mail.
• Enter customer, insurance, and prescription data, including transfers.
• Sell prescriptions using POS systems, handle cash, and reconcile payments.
• Manage inventory by ordering, stocking, organizing, rotating stock, removing expired items, and performing cycle counts.
• Complete data entry, contact management, medication dispensing (manual and automated), and basic compounding.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience necessary.
• Must hold a State Board Pharmacy Registration.
