About the Role

As a Greeter at Alila Marea Beach Resort, you will welcome and create the first impression for guests, influencing their overall restaurant experience. This role involves providing table accommodations, offering menu recommendations, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Your experience as a restaurant host or hostess will equip you with the skills needed to thrive in this position.

Nestled into the picturesque bluffs of Encinitas, Alila Marea Beach Resort offers an idyllic coastal setting with access to South Ponto Beach, Batiquitos Lagoon, and the vibrant community along California Coast Highway 101.

Responsibilities

• Seat guests at tables and provide table accommodations
• Offer menu recommendations to enhance guest experience
• Serve as the first and final point of contact to ensure guest satisfaction
• Adapt to evolving duties, including side work or cross-functional support, to meet operational needs
• Remain flexible as responsibilities may shift to support the team and maintain an exceptional guest experience

Qualifications

• A genuine desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Refined verbal communication skills

Mental and Physical Demands

• Frequent: standing, walking throughout the property, climbing stairs, and interacting with guests (speaking, listening, writing)
• Occasional: lifting, pushing, and sitting

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $20.70.
