Part-Time Respiratory Therapist

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care for outpatient pulmonary patients, including patient assessments
• administering therapies
• conducting pulmonary function tests
• drawing and interpreting arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• supporting pulmonary rehabilitation programs
• educating patients and families on disease management and home therapies
• Collaborate with pulmonologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive respiratory care, promote professional growth, and support research and service efforts for diverse communities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Knowledge of respiratory care practices
• Proficiency in pulmonary function testing and ABG analysis
• Strong communication skills for patient education
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in an academic environment
