Part-Time Registered Nurse - Nights - Labor & Delivery

Role: Registered nurse providing high-quality, technical nursing care to patients through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsibilities: Ensuring safe, accurate, and timely patient care, medication administration, and effective communication with patients, families, and team members. Creating a therapeutic environment and promoting a collaborative work culture. Maintaining complete and accurate documentation and adhering to hospital standards. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with a strong preference for BSN. Valid Texas nursing license. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP (required within 2 weeks), as well as Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (required within 6 months). At least 1+ year of Labor & Delivery RN experience. Additional department-specific certifications may be necessary. Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills. Ability to assume responsibility for professional growth and initiative. Proficiency in the nursing process to ensure quality patient care. Key Duties: Providing direct and indirect patient care, supporting hospital standards, educating patients and families, ensuring safety, and participating in professional development activities. Other duties as assigned.
