Part-Time Registered Nurse

Role: Registered Nurse responsible for assessing residents' health, educational, and environmental needs, both on admission and ongoing. Responsibilities: Develops and revises individualized care plans through interdisciplinary collaboration, communicates with team members, residents, and families, and documents assessments and plans accurately. Implements nursing interventions, such as medication administration, treatments, and IV fluids, ensuring safety and timeliness. Uses critical thinking to monitor resident conditions, promptly notifies physicians using SBARR, and maintains professionalism during crises. Ensures care plan delivery, identifies issues via QAPI processes, and stays informed on residents' status to detect behavioral or health changes. Assists with resident care tasks and completes mandatory educational hours. Qualifications: Must have a nursing degree from an accredited school, a current RN license, and CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain). Preferred experience in long-term care, with strong critical thinking, communication, organizational, and physical abilities. Capable of lifting, transferring, and handling equipment safely, with manual dexterity and visual acuity for documentation and care tasks.
