Part Time Receptionist at Westpark
Part-time position at our Westpark Family Clinic in Provo, Utah.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for our clinic, you'll play a vital role in creating a warm, welcoming experience for clients and families seeking behavioral health services. Westpark Family Clinic serves children, adolescents, adults, and families, providing compassionate, evidence-based care for a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and more. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of providers, you'll help ensure our clients receive the support they need while contributing to a positive, professional, and caring environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients, families, and visitors with exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming and supportive first impression.
- Manage incoming phone calls, answer questions, and direct calls to the appropriate team members.
- Make preliminary assessments of client needs to determine the urgency of requests and connect individuals with the appropriate services.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments while maintaining provider calendars.
- Process client payments, respond to billing questions, and assist with insurance authorizations as needed.
- Prepare, update, and maintain accurate client charts and electronic health records.
- Act as a liaison between clients, clinicians, and insurance partners to ensure smooth communication and continuity of care.
- Assist clients with forms, paperwork, and general questions about clinic services and processes.
- Coordinate communication with therapists, nurses, case managers, and providers to support daily clinic operations.
- Handle confidential information with professionalism while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Process incoming mail, faxes, and other administrative tasks to keep the clinic running efficiently.
- Help create an organized, professional, and compassionate environment that supports high-quality behavioral health care for children, adolescents, adults, and families.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 6 months of clerical or secretarial experience
- Strong communication skills (verbal + written)
- Solid computer and multitasking skills
- Compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented
Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase.
Pay
$17.50–$22.17/hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (variable hours).
