Part Time Reading Paraprofessional and Lunch Monitor - Parowan Elementary

About the Role

Parowan Elementary is seeking a Part-Time Reading Paraprofessional and Lunch Monitor to support classroom teachers and help students learn effectively. This position works 15 hours per week and remains open until filled.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers in maintaining appropriate classroom activities and environment.
• Provide instructional support to students and student groups.
• Participate in the development, maintenance, and execution of classroom management systems.
• Guide students in working and interacting harmoniously with others.
• Operate office equipment such as computers and copy machines.
• Comply with established district policies and procedures.
• Perform related data and clerical tasks to support teachers and professional staff.

Requirements

• Basic computer knowledge, including familiarity with Google Docs.
• Willingness to learn and use all required computer systems and software.
• Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance and job performance.
• Frequent email checking.

Schedule

15 hours per week.
