About the role
Seeking licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to provide mental health care via telemedicine.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients aged 14 and up.
- Prescribe medications as needed to manage mental health symptoms.
- Develop and collaborate on personalized care plans.
- Complete relevant documentation and assessments following clinical guidelines.
- Consult with regional directors and staff regarding client care and services.
- Provide clinical care through in-person and telemedicine sessions.
- Prescribe medications responsibly based on client needs.
- Follow clinical practice guidelines and collaborate with team members.
- Maintain thorough documentation and assessments.
Requirements
- Board-certified and licensed in psychiatric mental health nursing in the practicing state.
- Master's degree in Nursing with active prescriptive authority.
- At least one year of psychiatric practice; three years of experience preferred.
Skills
- Familiarity with EMR systems like AdvancedMD is a plus.
- Willingness to complete in-house ADHD training and certification.
