Part Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

About the role

This position involves providing psychiatric mental health care as a licensed Nurse Practitioner, primarily through telemedicine, serving diverse clients including adolescents and adults.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations in-person and via telehealth.
• Prescribe medications based on client needs and clinical judgment.
• Develop, implement, and collaborate on personalized care plans.
• Complete necessary documentation and assessments adhering to clinical guidelines.
• Consult with regional directors and support team on client care and program development.

Qualifications & Skills

• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with active licensure and prescriptive authority in the practicing state.
• Minimum of one year of psychiatry experience; three years preferred.
• Understanding of EMR systems like AdvancedMD is advantageous.
• Willingness to treat clients aged 14 and above.
• Completion of in-house ADHD training and certification is required, with no quotas for client prescriptions.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and practice guidelines.
