Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients aged 14 and up
- Prescribe medications to manage mental health symptoms
- Develop and collaborate on individualized care plans
- Complete necessary documentation and assessment tools
- Adhere to clinical practice guidelines and consult with regional staff
Qualifications
- Board‑certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with active prescriptive authority
- Master’s degree in Nursing; licensure in the practicing state
- At least one year of psychiatry experience (three years preferred)
- Understanding of EMR systems such as AdvancedMD is advantageous
- Willingness to treat diverse populations, including adolescents
