About the Role
Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners are needed to provide mental health care via telemedicine and in‑person settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients aged 14 and up.
- Prescribe medications and develop collaborative care plans.
- Complete necessary documentation and adhere to clinical guidelines.
- Consult with regional staff on client care and program needs.
Key Duties
- Provide ongoing mental health evaluations and medication management.
- Collaborate with clients to create personalized care plans.
- Follow clinical guidelines and participate in professional development.
Qualifications
- Board‑certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with active state licensure and prescriptive authority.
- Minimum of one year psychiatry experience; three years preferred.
- Understanding of EMR systems such as AdvancedMD is a plus.
- Willingness to treat diverse populations across age groups.
- Completion of in‑house training on ADHD treatment standards and certification exam.
