Seeking licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to provide mental health care through telemedicine and in‑person assessments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for diverse client populations, primarily adults and adolescents.
- Prescribe medications to manage mental health symptoms, adhering to clinical guidelines.
- Develop and collaborate on individualized care plans with clients.
- Complete necessary documentation and assessments, following organizational standards.
- Consult with clinic directors and staff regarding client care and program services.
- Provide high‑quality mental health evaluations and ongoing care.
- Prescribe and manage medication plans based on client needs.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to optimize treatment outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Board‑certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with active state licensure and prescriptive authority.
- Master’s degree in Nursing; understanding of EMR systems like AdvancedMD is a plus.
- Minimum of one year psychiatric practice; three years of healthcare experience is advantageous.
- Willingness to treat clients aged 14 and older.
- Complete in‑house training on ADHD treatment standards and obtain certification.
