About the role
Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners provide mental health care to diverse clients, primarily adults and adolescents, through a hybrid model of in-person and telehealth.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations via in-person and telemedicine
- Develop and collaborate on individualized care plans
- Prescribe medications to manage mental health symptoms, including ADHD
- Monitor patient progress and make treatment adjustments
- Complete necessary documentation and assessments in adherence to clinical guidelines
- Maintain in-person follow-ups every 90 days for clients aged 14 and up
- Participate in in-house training on ADHD standards and guidelines
Requirements
- Board-certified Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the practicing state
- Must reside and be licensed in the state of practice
- At least one year of psychiatry experience; three years preferred
- Understanding of EMR systems like AdvancedMD is a plus
- Complete internal training on ADHD treatment without client quotas
Schedule
Part-time (15-20 hours/week) with flexibility.
