Part Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

About the role

Seeking licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to provide mental health care via telemedicine and in-person assessments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients aged 14 and up.
• Prescribe medications and develop collaborative care plans.
• Complete necessary documentation and adhere to clinical guidelines.
• Consult with regional directors and support staff on client care and services.

Requirements

• Active licensure and board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Master’s in Nursing with prescriptive authority in the practicing state.
• At least one year of psychiatric practice; three years of experience preferred.
• Understanding of EMR systems such as AdvancedMD is a plus.
• Willingness to treat adolescents and adults, with training on ADHD standards and guidelines.
• Must be licensed and reside in the practicing state.
