The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking a part-time (25% FTE) Program Coordinator to assist with basic office functions and support program staff with the management of CME activities.

About the Role

In partnership with the UC Health academic healthcare system and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, College of Medicine’s faculty are transforming the world of medicine every day. The Center for Continuous Professional Development/Continuing Medical Education seeks to hire a part-time (25% FTE) Program Coordinator to assist with basic office functions and support program staff with the management of CME activities.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and upload attendance records.
  • Conduct initial content review of educational materials.
  • Cook up documentation that is required for accreditation.
  • Develop program objectives and monitor quantitative and qualitative data on progress toward objectives.
  • Review objectives to identify problems and solutions, prioritize solutions and develop action steps for program improvement.
  • Develop, administer and analyze assessment/evaluation questionnaires.
  • Compile statistics and prepare reports.
  • Interact with staff faculty, external agencies and other university departments.
  • Might conduct research and analyze relevant literature, other benchmark information to develop grant proposals, new program ideas and propose program changes.
  • Perform related duties based on departmental need.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
  • One (1) year of program coordination experience.
